Events Sales Executive

Main Responsibilities

Exceed targets by providing customers with a motivating and exemplary sales experience.

Manage sales enquiries through venue client bookings inbox.

Answer all incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner.

Maintain an up-to-date CRM system, logging all enquiries and updating notes and status as required.

Prepare proposals and bespoke requests for all clients.

Conduct all venue site visits and complete all follow ups.

Work closely with Venue General Managers and Event Design team to ensure smooth customer journey.

Assist with entertaining, sales missions, networking and exhibitions and at all times act as an ambassador for both Heritage Portfolio and the venue client.

Achieve personal KPI's to be agreed with Line Manager.

The Ideal Candidate

Will have a strong background in hospitality sales and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer and sales targets. You will have a genuine passion for cultural destinations with the ability to learn and become a knowledgeable sales ambassador for Perth Racecourse.

You will also have:

A successful track record in venue sales.

A strong knowledge of the local market.

A team player with a 'can do' attitude.

Foodie passion.

Ability to build strong client relationships and understand their needs.

Excellent people skills, we need a good listener.

Excellent communication verbal & written skills.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver measurable sales targets.

Excellent time management and organisational skills to prioritise various job demands.

Proven negotiation skill.
