We have an exciting opening for an Investment Analyst to support in delivering IQ's growth strategy. This role will support the investment and asset management team and report into Head of Transactions, this will be an investment led role with interaction with both the Executive Committee and Blackstone UK acquisitions team.

Key role responsibilities:

  • Undertake detailed financial underwrites of target acquisitions
  • Prepare supporting documentation for presentation to iQ's ExCo and Blackstone's UK acquisitions team
  • Support Head of Transactions with financial analysis throughout the deal process
  • Support on the preparation of Investment Proposals to iQ Executive Committee
  • Work closely with the Head of Transactions and CIO to shape the growth strategy of the business
  • Using in-house market research and proprietary performance data, formulate individual town/city strategies to support our growth ambitions
  • Support the Sustainability team to identify and underwrite climate-related risks and opportunities in acquisition and development business plans;
  • Support the Head of Transactions and Investment Manager with the integration process of new acquisitions into the iQ portfolio
  • Maintain the deal tracker pipeline to ensure it is up to date and circulated in advance of regular acquisition pipeline meetings

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven real estate transactional experience with a preference for some experience in PBSA or residential market
  • Highly numerate with a demonstrable ability to undertake and present detailed financial analysis
  • Strong report writing and presentational skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to research, analyse and present complex financial data
  • Advanced Excel skills to include cashflow models
  • IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft packages including PowerPoint

We work a hybrid working model with 3 days per week based at our London office.
