We are seeking a level 3 qualified Plumber to join our team at a HMP The Verne, a Category C adult male prison.

We are a five-year-old Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Plumber with any combination of: 

Plumber qualifications to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing & Heating) and NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent, with substantial experience in a similar role and an awareness of Commercial maintenance and installations Familiarity with, and ability to work to Water Supply Regulations and Control of Legionella L8 requirements Experience of reactive maintenance, fault finding and resolution, installations, testing and commissioning Ability to work Monday to Friday alongside a team of Plumbers, sharing an on-call rota between you Good Health & Safety knowledge Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
