Senior Software Developer

Typical Responsibilties

• Be the Protec champion for Cloud based connectivity, updating and implementing the engineering guidelines for design, development, deployment, de-bugging and maintenance of cloud-based systems ensuring efficient data storage and adherence to security policies.
• Cross function collaboration with the R&D team, Digital systems, and wider Protec end users to evaluate and identify technically and commercially optimal cloud solutions.
• Responsible for writing new Product Technical Specifications and delivering the project requirements including modifying and improving existing systems.
•  Supporting Resource allocation by identifying the necessary tasks to deliver the requirement in manageable chunks to be delivered using a Sprint methodology.
• Clear communications to the R&D Project Manager on current progress and mitigation for any tasks which face delay.  
• Any other duties commensurate with the role.
