Who we are looking for:
Join Atkore as a Supply Chain Manager and play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in delivering our products to customers.
What you will do:
Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws, and regulations Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring, and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices Analysing the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place Identifying and minimising risk by predicting the demand for products ensuring no disruption to supply Managing purchasing, production planning, inventory, picking, warehousing, and distribution Monitor and motivate staff Ensure targets are met Build a close relationship with suppliers Ensure you're aware of exactly what is happening throughout the supply chainWhat you bring:
Minimum of Five years’ experience within Supply Chain Management Team management experience Strong planning skills and project management expertise Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy Strategic planning and thinking, systems analysis and evaluation Ability to remain calm under pressure and make decisions quickly Relationship management skills and active listening Complex problem-solving skills Interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of various IT systems In-depth understanding of risk management within the supply chain of the company Attention to detailHours: per week
