Full-Time English Teacher Opportunity in Blackburn

The Role:

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for literature and language.
  • Plan and prepare lessons that cater to students of varying abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and participate in whole-school initiatives.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.

  • A qualified teacher with QTS and a strong background in teaching English.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
  • Strong classroom management skills with a commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
