London, United Kingdom Inkling Culture and Entertainment Full time

We are looking for a Social Media and Content Executive to join our hybrid communications team at Inkling Culture to play a key role in account planning and lead the day-to-day social media and digital content management for our clients. This is a dynamic role working across a diverse client group and offers the opportunity to broaden your experience beyond social media marketing as we frequently work with the PR & Influencer and Experiential teams on integrated brand projects and retained client work.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior team members with client relations management, becoming a day-to-day digital/social contact, where appropriate.
  • Day-to-day social media management for our retained clients, including developing content calendars, publishing content and reactive and proactive community management on brand owned social media channels.
  • Work closely with senior team members to deliver digital/social content activity on bigger accounts & campaigns – helping to develop plans, creative, timelines and seeing projects from pitch through to activation.
  • Being a go-to expert on all things digital and social internally alongside senior team members, proactively sharing industry/platform updates and trends.
  • Creative concept ideation and briefing, supporting the Account Manager and Senior Account Director with the delivery of digital/social content delivery, working closely with the creative studio team.
  • Developing long-form website editorial, newsletter creation, and other content formats for digital engagement.
  • Assisting with the planning, implementing, and optimising of paid social media campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Google Ads (upskilling and training will be provided).
  • Assisting with reporting and helping to analyse the success of client digital/social activity, both organic and paid, and turning learnings into actionable insights.
  • Contributing to brand and campaign planning with the wider integrated team and working on new business proposals and being part of a pitch team, when required.
  • Play a supporting role in crisis planning, troubleshooting and problem solving (with support from your senior team where needed.)

Experience

Essential:

  • At least 1 year of agency or brand experience with a proven track record implementing social media and digital marketing activity aligned to brand strategies.
  • Demonstrable experience managing brand social channels, including content writing, planning, briefing content production, publishing, performance reporting, and community management.
  • You’re able to demonstrate exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills – you’re as comfortable writing website editorial as you are TikTok scripts and have an extensive knowledge of content that can be exploited across multiple social and digital channels.
  • You’re creatively minded, contributing new and exciting ideas for everything from one-off social posts to wider brand campaigns.
  • You embody superb professionalism and a mature presence in all aspects of team and client relationship building.
  • You’ll be comfortable with multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced and commercially driven environment.
  • You exhibit a genuine passion for digital platforms, social, and enthusiasm for ever-changing trends, platforms, and formats and how they might enhance our client work and always strive to deliver best-in-class campaigns and work to a high standard.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of social paid media campaigns, and some experience setting up, monitoring, and evaluating social paid activity across social media networks.
  • Experience using social analytics tools (native and/or third party) to measure success and analyse social and digital campaigns.
  • Previous experience or a good level of understanding about how SEO, email marketing platforms (Mailchimp), website CMS (Wordpress or Squarespace), Google Analytics and Google Adwords work.

Benefits

About Inkling Culture and Entertainment:

Inkling is a culture marketing agency, which means we bring audiences and brands together by making authentic connections to the things they feel passionately about. This provides a springboard for us to create exciting and effective campaigns that are grounded in insight. This could be positioning maths as a lifestyle brand to sell more Casio calculators to a gen z audience, as much as it could be about playing into the experimental palate of millennials for the latest craft beer offering from Guinness. It could be taking mindfulness into the kitchen to open up new audiences to Denby, as much as it could be about using the concept of rewilding to bring The Body Shop closer to a more ethical beauty consumer.

We execute our campaigns across digital (social and content strategy, digital media planning, social media management, paid social advertising), creative (branding, art direction, content creation, graphic design), PR/advocacy (media strategy, publicity, influencer/talent partnerships) and experiential (live and digital brand experiences).

Agency culture and values:

Our agency culture is as important as the work that we do. We cultivate an environment that is hard working but nurturing, that encourages people to be highly ambitious but always collaborative. We have four key values that we live and breathe at the agency, that are mapped back to SMART objectives and that encourage us all to care about everything we do together:

·       I care about our business

·       I care about my work

·       I care about my clients

·       I care about our team

Our clients:

We work across a broad spectrum of consumer brands and charities – Hitachi, Barclays, Denby, The National Lottery, Arup, WWF, Sky, Women in Banking & Finance (WIBF), and Choose Love to name just a few.
