Job Description

Macklin Care Homes are currently recruiting a Dayshift Senior Care Assistant to join their friendly, caring, and progressive Our Ladys Care Home, Belfast. This is a vital role within the Home, working as a team to lead the delivery of excellent care to much loved residents.

 Responsibilities:
Lead and work collaboratively with the care team to deliver excellent quality, person-centred care to all residents
Enrich the lives of residents through the organisation and delivery of activities
Proactively encourage and develop team members
Ensure all documentation is completed in line with Home procedures
Assist inducting new team members into their role and the Home
Advocate and promote the company mission, vision and values
Supporting the nursing team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures

 Ideal candidate:
Minimum one-year caring experience in a Care Home environment
Passed probation period within current role in Macklin Care Homes
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team
Exceptional communicator at all levels
Committed to consistently delivering a high standard of care
