Winsford, United Kingdom Homecarers Cheshire Full time
About the Role

Why work for Homecarers?

Would you like to be part of an amazing team working for a leading care provider in the Cheshire area?

We are a recognised care provider rated GOOD overall by CQC (Care Quality Commission)

We are looking for people who have a kind, friendly caring nature, who may want a change of career and flexible shifts.

You don’t need qualifications or experience; we offer a thorough 4-day induction programme to prepare you in your new exciting role.

Job Opportunity

What to expect

You will be visiting clients in their own home in the Winsford and Northwich area, so you will need to be a driver with your own car.

As a driver you will also receive a pay enhancement to help with those additional costs.

You will be meeting several clients each day, so you need to be a great communicator and even better listener, as our clients love to tell great stories.

You will be providing personal care and assisting with personal hygiene and dressing to get them ready for the day ahead.

We don’t need you to be a Michelin Starred chef, however basic cooking skills, such as boiling an egg, making sandwiches and using the microwave is essential.

Our clients have a range of ailments that they need support with, so our Support Workers need to be patient and have compassion.

We have a variety of shifts available, including morning shifts, full days and afternoons. We also have evening shifts 6.30pm – 11.15pm which attract an enhanced pay rate.

If you let us know your availability, we’ll see what we can do.

Please note you have to be 18 years of age or above to apply for this role.

We provide support to our clients 7 days a week, so alternate weekend working is something we require.
