About our finance graduate programme

If you have obtained a degree or are expecting to achieve a degree in 5, and are seeking an opportunity where you can gain real business experience, then the Mercedes-Benz Finance graduate programme could be for you.

The graduate scheme offers the opportunity to complete four unique six-month placements within the finance department and beyond, working with colleagues of all specialisms and expertise.

This will see you spending time with the accounting and two controlling teams, as well as finding your own placement in an area of interest to you, giving you the opportunity to expand your horizons and experience a working model of how finance fits into the wider organisation.

In each placement you will have the chance to learn about the role the department plays in the day to day and strategic operations of the business, as well as expanding your knowledge and skillset.

Your responsibilities come in the form of day to day tasks that you will quickly come to own end to end, as well as assisting on larger projects and even leading some initiatives of your own.

In each case you will become a key part of the team and will be able to draw on the expertise and skillset of this community.

Currently studying a degree with an expected 2:1 grade or above. If you advance to the next stage, you’ll be invited to participate in an online video interview. If you are successful in this interview, the following step will involve completing some online test that can be done at home. Successful completion will then see you invited to a short online interview with a member of the HR Team to get to know you and what you can bring to the role. After this, if you are successful, we’ll invite you to our assessment centre day at our head office in Milton Keynes. During this day, you’ll receive an introduction to life as one of our apprentices and meet members of our wider team. Finally, if you perform well during the assessment centre, we will extend a verbal offer, followed by a written confirmation.
