We’ve already assembled some of the world’s top scientists & engineers from worldwide renowned companies and due to our success and growth, Envisics is now looking to open the doors to entry level talent, in the form of a Graduate placement.

**Summary of Role**
The role will include laboratory work, measuring performance of SLM Device characteristics, collecting and analysing data and presenting results to the design team

**Key responsibilities**
- Use a range of measurement techniques to evaluate novel Holographic Spatial Light Modulators
- Where necessary automate measurements to increase throughput and speed of data gathering.
- Where necessary use computational modelling tools to further enhance understanding of device performance.
- Interact with wider R&D teams to present the results of measurements or modelling activities.

**Minimum requirements**
- Sound basic knowledge of optics, principles of diffraction and physics
- Knowledge of Spatial Light Modulators (LCOS) would be useful but not essential
- Experience of laboratory work, at undergraduate level or above. Specifically, Laser based optical experiments
- Demonstrated ability to plan experiments, design and build test equipment, carry out measurements, record results and analyse data (programming skills useful but not essential)
- Demonstrated good communications skills - report writing, presentations, team working.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint desirable
