What you’ll do

The commercial manager plays an important role in performance managing and driving improvements across the Consumer & SOHO collections path, and ensuring there is a clear interlock with the business units operations, focusing on the following:

• Building and owning clear governance & performance mgt structures across collections 
• Identifying deficiencies and proposing improvements, completing business cases and providing recommendations to the senior leadership team across BCRC
• Supporting commercial colleagues across the business
• Working with collections analytics to clearly embed & monitor core KPIs
• Working hand in hand with the Collections Operation to support ongoing challenges across Collections estate
• Build strong governance on the execution of Collection policies ensuring risks are highlighted and work closely with the Operation to address challenges 
• Work closely with the Operational functions on rolling out Collection strategy changes to improve good customer outcomes and maximise recovery rates.
• Supporting investment cases and driving the delivery and implementation of collections based initiatives
 

Who You Are

• Proactivity, self starter attitude a must
• Experience of managing performance & identification of levers of good & bad performance
• Experience of implementing initiatives & coming up with proposals utilising a data led approach
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders & build a network across the organisation
• Experience of collections
