Wiltshire Health and Care are lookingfor a lead Nurse to complement their management structure, leading the InPatient Ward Managers and teams.

Working alongside the Head of Qualityand Head of Operations, you will provide a key link with the clinical areas.Focussing on clinical governance, you will ensure clinical quality within theteams. You will also have aresponsibility for the development of Nursing teams within our units tomaximise staff potential and meet the ever changing patient demographic.

As lead Nurse, we are looking for candidates who arecomfortable being visible and accessible. You will require strongorganisational skills to ensure each area receives support in a timely manner.

The extensive support services willassist you in your understanding of the vast areas your role will encompass,including risk management, HR, infection control, finance and qualityimprovement.

WithinWiltshire Health and Care, we have 4 In Patient wards over 3 Community Hospitalsites, caring for adults of any age with a wide range of healthcare needs. Wework in partnership with 3 local acute Trusts to ensure flow through the healthcare system.

Main duties of the job

Responsibility to drive highstandards of care across 4 wards

Work closely with Head of Quality todevise clinical governance framework, ensuring best practice across all sites

Work closely with Head of Operationsto ensure the wards are able to respond to changes in demand for services

Line management of 4 Ward Managers

Investigations to incidents andcomplaints, developing, and implementing, robust action plans

Registered Nurse (Active Registration) Educated to degree level or equivalent experience Management / leadership qualification

Masters level qualification or equivalent experience; working towards a Masters Management Qualification or Leadership Diploma
