Peripatetic Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead

About the Role
As a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical) at Barchester Healthcare, you will travel across your region to manage and develop the teams in various care homes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and service. Working closely with the General Manager or hiring manager, you will help implement action plans to meet the needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance checks.
• Develop and deliver strategies to achieve your goals, setting the highest standards in care and clinical practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure residents receive the best possible quality of life.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. Previous experience in a nursing home setting is essential, as is evidence of continual professional development. You should also have experience in managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments, as well as a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, budget management, and supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
