  • Looking to hire a highly skilled & motivated DataScientist with an expertise in Epic EMR. The candidate will beplaying a critical role in leveraging Snowflakes data platform toaccelerate the adoption of AI in H&H projects.
  • This role involves implementing rulesbased logic andcreating structured data models for RetrievalAugmented Generation(RAG) to support decisionmaking and improve operational efficiencyand clinical outcomes.
  • Ideal candidate needsto have solid experience working as a Data Scientist withinHealthcare specifically with Epic strong experience in implementingrulesbased logic and RAG within a healthcare setting experienceworking with data visualization tools (Tableau PowerBI or somethingsimiliar) experience with AI & ML techniques to enhance dataanalysis and RAG implementation but not limited to SQL Excel and/orSAAS along with experience working with Snowflake (cloudbased dataplatform).
  • Will be working remotely no need tobe local.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Management andAnalysis:
Extract clean and analyze large datasets fromEpic EMR and other healthcare data sources.
Develop andmaintain data pipelines to ensure the accurate and timely flow ofdata.
Perform data validation and ensure data qualityand integrity.
Implementation of RulesBasedLogic:
Develop and implement rulesbased logic to supportvarious healthcare use cases including One Stop Benefits ChargeCapture Automation and Denials Optimization.
Createstructured data models that facilitate the application ofrulesbased logic.
RAG (RetrievalAugmented Generation)Implementation:
Design and implement structured datamodels for RAG to enhance data retrieval and generationprocesses.
Develop dashboards and visualizations topresent RAG insights and other key performance indicators tostakeholders.
Utilize AI and ML techniques to enhancethe accuracy and predictive capabilities of the RAGmodels.
Collaboration and Communication:
Workclosely with crossfunctional teams including data engineersdevelopers and healthcare professionals to understand projectrequirements and deliver datadriven solutions.
Communicate complex analytical results and insights to nontechnicalstakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
ProjectExecution:
Participate in agile development processesand contribute to sprint planning reviews andretrospectives.
Ensure timely delivery of projectmilestones and adhere to project timelines.
PreferredSkills
Design and implement predictive models usingvarious machine learning techniques including both supervised andunserved algorithms.
Utilize deep statistical analysisto understand and model complex public health data.
Develop and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) for creatingchatbots and extracting insights enhancing user engagement andinformation dissemination.
Analyze clinical data toderive insights that improve patient care and clinicalworkflows.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Bachelors or Masters degree in Data ScienceComputer Science Statistics or a related field. A Ph.D. is aplus.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years ofexperience in data science with a focus on healthcareanalytics.
Proven experience working with Epic EMR dataincluding extraction transformation and analysis.
Strongbackground in implementing rulesbased logic and RAG in a healthcaresetting.

Knowledge Skills Abilities and otherRequirements:
Proficiency in programming languages suchas Python R and SQL.
Experience with data visualizationtools such as Tableau Power BI or similar.
Familiaritywith Snowflake or other cloudbased data platforms.
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
Experience with AIand ML techniques to enhance data analysis and RAG implementation.but not limited to SQL Excel and/or SAAS
Proficient invarious data catalog and visualizations tools including but notlimited to Tableau PowerBI Informatica and/or Snowflake
Knowledgeable in electronic medical records preferablyEPIC
