Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in London Bridge. CBW are currently recruiting for Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to be based in a commercial building located in Wimbledon. The successful candidates will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with a small maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM & reactive maintenance.

Hours of work
  • 08:00am - 17:00pm
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday (Weekend off) 
  • £24 per hour
  • Starting Immediately 
Requirements
  • City & Guilds / NVQ
  • NVQ in Mechanical
  • You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer skills
Mechanical duties:
  • Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
  • AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
  • Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
  • Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
  • Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
  • Water pressurization units
  • Chlorifiers – annual inspection, descaling
  • Steam Plant
  • Condensers, Condenser Returns
  • Cooling towers
  • Softeners
  • Humidifiers
  • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • Boilers – re-sets
  • Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faults
