- Seeking afulltime Information Technology Business Analyst (BA) that hasproven experience with providing technical systems analysis andrequirements solicitation. The business analyst will assist andprovide expertise to project managers to identify and delivertechnology solutions determine the technical and operationalfeasibility of their solutions.
- In this rolethe Business Analyst will solicit understand and document thecustomers technical business requirements processes and workflowsdeveloping both written and visual depictions of requirements andprocess flows.
- Additionally the BusinessAnalyst will lead the development and validation of thenonfunctional technical specifications that meet those requirementsserve as a subject matter expert to the developers building thosefunctions and work with the team to test the functionality toensure it meets the business need. Role Overview:
The Information Technology Business Analyst (BA) will playa pivotal role in the analysis design and implementation oftechnology solutions to meet the business needs of theorganization. The BA will collaborate closely with project managerssystem analysts and development teams to gather document andvalidate technical business requirements processes and workflows.Additionally the BA will lead the development of nonfunctionaltechnical specifications serve as a subject matter expert duringthe development phase and ensure that the implemented solutionsmeet the business requirements.

Requirements Gathering andAnalysis:
- Solicitunderstand and document customers technical business requirementsprocesses and workflows.
- Conduct interviewsworkshops and stakeholder meetings to elicit and clarifyrequirements.
- Develop written and visualdepictions of requirements and process flows using tools such asuse cases user stories flowcharts and diagrams.
Solution Designand Validation:
- Lead thedevelopment and validation of nonfunctional technicalspecifications based on the gathered requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and development teamsto determine the technical and operational feasibility of proposedsolutions.
- Ensure that the proposed solutionsalign with business objectives architectural standards andregulatory requirements.
Collaboration andCommunication:
- Workclosely with project managers system analysts and productionsupport staff throughout the project managementlifecycle.
- Act as a liaison between businessstakeholders and technical teams translating business needs intotechnical requirements and vice versa.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of theorganization presenting findings recommendations and projectupdates in a clear and concise manner.
Testing and QualityAssurance:
- Work with thedevelopment team to test the functionality of implemented solutionsand ensure that they meet the business needs and technicalspecifications.
- Identify and resolve anyissues or discrepancies found during testing collaborating withstakeholders and technical teams to implement correctiveactions.
Best Practices and ContinuousImprovement:
- Recommend andinstitute business system analysis best practices tools andmethodologies to standardize deliverables andprocedures.
- Stay current with industry trendstechnologies and best practices in business analysis and projectmanagement.
- Proactively identify opportunitiesfor process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance theefficiency and effectiveness of business analysisprocesses.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst ininformation technology projects with a focus on technical systemsanalysis and requirements solicitation.
- Stronganalytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translatebusiness needs into technical requirements and viceversa.
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaboratewith crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies andlifecycle processes such as Agile Scrum or Waterfall.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)principles and practices.
- Certifications suchas Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) are a plus.
