Endell Vets are seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time receptionist to join our dedicated and professional team.

The role is for 28hours per week, to include Monday – Friday afternoons until 6.15pm and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8.00-12.30pm.

About the Practice:

Endell Veterinary Group Small Animal Department is a single-site, RCVS accredited Small Animal Practice located in the heart of the Cathedral city of Salisbury where we have been practicing for over a hundred years We are a four vet, first opinion practice and accredited for veterinary nurse training.

About the role:

As our new Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient first point of contact for our clients.

Day-to-day duties of the role will include answering phones, typing client notes, responding to emails, booking appointments, registering new clients, dispensing medications, taking payments and most importantly, providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the clinic

What we're looking for in our Receptionist:

An excellent communicator with strong decision-making skills. Reception or customer services experience or extensive experience of working in customer facing roles. Previous client-facing experience is essential , veterinary experience is a plus An ability to work with computerised booking systems A confident telephone manner The role can be quite pressured, an ability to multitask efficiently and consistently is important. A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills

Extensive training is available. Flexibility to attend courses, and cover for sickness and holidays is required.
