HR Advisor

First Light Fusion are seeking adetailoriented and proactive HR Adviser to join our team. As an HRAdviser you will play a crucial role within the HR functionensuring smooth and efficient service to the business. Reporting tothe Head of HR you will be responsible for providing first lineadvisory support to employees supporting recruitment activity aswell as various HR administrative tasks contributing to the overallsuccess and wellbeing of theorganisation.

Responsibilities willinclude:

• Record update and maintainall HR documentation and employee records accurately and in linewith data protection and confidentiality requirements.
• Provide first line HR support across allaspects of the employee lifecycle.
• Support HRinitiatives and programs such as employee training performancereviews and employee engagement activities.
• Assist in recruitment activities andfacilitate the onboarding of new employees.
• Collaborate with the Head of HR to ensurecompliance with HR policies and procedures.
• Assist in the coordination of employeebenefits and leave administration.
• Contributeto the maintenance of a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Essential

• Proven experience inHR Adviser or a similar role.
• Familiarity withHR policies procedures and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail andconfidentiality.
• Effective communication andinterpersonal skills.
• A resilient and agileapproach to working.
• Ability to organise andprioritise effectively.
• Passion for providingexcellent service.
• Proficiency in MS Office(Word Excel PowerPoint).

Inertialconfinement fusion for energy generation is a wellestablishedresearch field and is being pursued in many laboratories worldwideperhaps most notably in the US at the National Ignition Facility.We are exploring a number of alternative research directions thatharness the same fundamental physics with the prime focus beingpower generation. Our work todate has included theoretical analysisdetailed numerical simulation and experimental validation. We havean increasingly clear vision of the pathway to a power plant.
