Housing Supply Officer

We are working closely alongside a LocalAuthority in Enfield toassist with the appointment of a HousingSupply Officer on a3monthcontract highly likely to be extended at clientsdiscretion. Please apply with your CV forimmediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 23.98 29.99 perHour
Responsibilities:
- To negotiate with managing agents and landlordsto procure and renew various forms of leased temporary and settledaccommodation to meet the needs of homeless clients to whom theCouncil has a statutory responsibility.
- Monitor maintain and carry out all duties andresponsibilities to achieve the target levels of procurement withintimescales. As part of the process ensure all properties arecompliant of good quality and meet our propertystandards.
- To negotiate withmanaging agents landlords and tenants to procure and allocatesuitable private rented accommodation as a homeless preventionmeasure or as a means of discharging duty for clients accommodatedin temporary accommodation.
- Tomonitor maintain and carry out all duties and responsibilities forthe hand back of leased temporary accommodation and PRS housing;and negotiate with landlords and managing agents to minimisedilapidations claims and process payment if required.
- To act as a first point of contact and offeradvice when dealing with landlord managing agent and tenantenquiries and complaints which arise as part of your daytodayactivity and through dedicated channels ofcommunication.
Requirements:
- Candemonstrate the effective use of time and resources to meetchallenging targets anddeadlines
- Excellent communicationskills both written and verbal
- Excellent ITskills
- Experience of working with severalparties to achieve a successful outcome
