Aggreko in the AMEA region

We work in partnership with our customers across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia (AMEA), guiding them towards the most sustainable and efficient energy solutions to meet their power and cooling needs. 

Our customers in the region are primarily in the mining and oil & gas sectors, but we also support the utilities as well as manufacturing where we offer valuable 'behind-the-meter' services.

Our graduate engineering programme

As a graduate electrical engineer, you’ll work in the electrical engineering team to design electrical systems and supporting documentation for sales tenders and project sites around the globe. You’ll join a comprehensive 2-year training programme, based in Dubai but working on projects across the region (Africa, Middle East, Asia) and around the world.

You’ll be supported by a chartered electrical engineer and follow the IEEE Mentoring Program ready to move into an engineer role at Aggreko at the end of the two-year programme.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for motivated individuals with a degree or relevant qualification in electrical engineering, who speak business level English and want to learn and develop their career.

You’ll need to have a sense of adventure as you’ll be working across the world. 

We’ll help sort the relevant visas with you, but you will need a valid passport with at least 9 months’ validity. 

Quick checklist: 

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent qualifications). 

You’ll be able and willing to travel across the region as and when required.

Understanding of engineering processes and appreciation of the commercial constraints.

Good diagnostic skills and problem-solving abilities.

Well organised and self-disciplined approach to working.

Business level English, second language would be an advantage

Valid passport with a minimum validity of 9 months
