Our graduate engineering programme
As a graduate mechanical engineer, you’ll work in the mechanical design team to design structural/civil and mechanical installation on project sites around the globe. You’ll join a comprehensive 2-year training programme, based in Dubai but working on projects across the region (Africa, Middle East, Asia) and around the world. You’ll be supported by a chartered mechanical engineer and follow the IMechE Monitored Professional Development Scheme ready to move into an engineer role at Aggreko at the end of the two-year programme.

What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for motivated individuals with a degree or relevant qualification in mechanical engineering, who speak business level English and want to learn and develop their career.
You’ll need to have a sense of adventure as you’ll be working across the world.
We’ll help sort the relevant visas with you, but you will need a valid passport with at least 9 months’ validity.
Quick checklist:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent qualifications).
You’ll be able and willing to travel across the region, and worldwide when required.
Experience using the following software: AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor (3D CAD systems), STAAD PRO, STAAD Foundation Advanced, FEA (ANSYS, etc), Auto PIPE, CAESER (preferred), Mathcad
Understanding of engineering processes and appreciation of the commercial constraints.
Good diagnostic skills and problem-solving abilities.
Well organised and self-disciplined approach to working.
Business level English
Valid passport with a minimum validity of 9 months
