Position: Electrical Estimator
Location: Newry
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Join a leading Electrical Contractor in Northern Ireland with 40 years of experience across Industrial, Commercial, and Domestic Construction sectors in Ireland & the UK.
Role Overview:
As an Electrical Estimator, you'll be a crucial part of the Estimating Team, handling all aspects of the Tendering Process from Request to Submission. This role offers promising career progression within a dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit accurate and compliant tenders within client deadlines, utilizing our estimating templates/software.
  • Report directly to the Senior Electrical Estimator.
  • Resolve queries to secure projects.
  • Proactively maintain and develop a strong network of contacts.
  • Handover secured projects to the Contracts team with detailed BOQ & Budgets.

Experience Required:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as Junior Electrical Estimator/QS in Construction.
  • Strong secondary education demonstrating proficiency in literacy and numeracy.
  • Technical knowledge of electrical installations, ranging from domestic to large commercial/industrial.
  • Ability to analyze electrical drawings to establish project costs.
  • Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient IT skills.
