Recruiting now: Electrical Estimator, Billingham Our client is a well recognised engineering contractor, who specialise in Electrical and Instrumentation services. They are looking to grow their team in Billingham, with the appointment of a Electrical Estimator. Maybe you have related experience and are looking to transition into a Estimation career? If this sounds like you, please read on.... Duties of a Electrical Estimator will include:

  • Review clients Specifications and tender information in detail
  • Strong understanding of Contracts T&C’s and ability to converse and negotiate terms
  • Ensure that tender documents are correct and technically accurate
  • Timely preparation of and submission of Electrical & Instrumentation tenders
  • Attend site visits and client briefings
  • Work closely with clients and other colleagues to review tenders and handovers
  • Finalisation of all tender bids and to attend pre award meetings to secure contracts and hand over to Project Managers
  • Working to tight deadlines
  • Liaising with customers to review, interpret, and understand customer electrical specifications/requirements
  • Obtain Supplier & Sub-contractor quotations
  • Maintain electrical specification confirmations for all contracts, identifying and costing for upcharges and requesting concessions
  • Developing key relationships with supply chain and with customers / specifies
  • Support the project team from Tender stage to handover
Preferred qualifications and experience of a Electrical Estimator:
  • Experienced Electrical estimator with Process, Power Generation, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas industry experience is essential.
  • Strong Electrical, Instrumentation and Special Systems knowledge and experience is essential
  • Electrical or Instrumentation degree / trade qualified is essential
  • Salary negotiable depending on the experience of the candidate
  • Position to start immediately
