As part of Oxford Health's workforce transformation plan, we are recruiting Nursing Associates to join us where you will be working across inpatient and community in both adult and mental health settings.
We are offering a two-year Level 5 Nursing Associate Apprenticeship Programme , supporting you to attain the skills and knowledge required to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. Your course will be delivered by Buckinghamshire New University where you will attend sessions at Unipart House and be given study days to complete your learning.
This is part-time role (30 hours per week) based in one main ward across the Trust where you will work a variety of shifts including nights, long days and weekends. Applicants will be able to indicate their ward preference at interview.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will gain experience working in a variety of health and social care settings. You'll be participating in placements within the Trust and external to it so you must be able to travel freely between sites as required, and work different shift patterns according to the placement area.
On completion of the apprenticeship programme you will attain Nursing Associate registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Main duties of the job
Deliver high quality, compassionate care under the direction of a RegisteredNurse (or other registered care professional dependent on setting) with a focus

standard and competency, under the direction and supervision of a registered
nurse or other registered care professional’s dependent on setting Work with a mentor to take responsibility for developing own clinical
competence, leadership and reflective practice skills within the workplace, while
on placements and through attending the Nursing Associate Training
