SEN Classroom Assistant PrimarySchool Epping

An inclusive primaryschool in Epping is actively seeking a dedicated SENClassroom Assistant to join their team and supportyoung students in their daily learning activities. In this fulltimepermanent role you will work closely with teachers to ensure thateach child receives the resources guidance and encouragement theyneed to thrive in their educational journey. Your contributionswill be essential in fostering an engaging and supportive learningenvironment for students with special educational needs(SEN).

RoleHighlights

  • Fulltimepermanent position in a warm and inclusive primaryschool dedicated to providing quality education and support for allstudents
  • Provide oneonone andsmall group support for students with varying SENneeds helping them to develop their academic skills and socialinteractions
  • Collaborate with teachers tocreate and adapt lesson plans and learning materials that meet thediverse needs of students ensuring accessibility and meaningfulparticipation
  • Help cultivate a positiveclassroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement curiosityand a love for learning
  • Engage in regularprofessional development opportunities to enhance your skills inSEN education and stay updated on best practices in thefield
  • Participate in school events andinitiatives that promote inclusion celebrate diversity and foster asense of community among students andfamilies

Experience&Qualifications

  • Experienceworking with children ideally with exposure to SEN support or in aneducational setting
  • A positive patient andempathetic approach to working with young learners with the abilityto build trusting relationships with students and support theirindividual needs
  • Strong communication andteamwork skills with a willingness to collaborate closely withteachers and other staff members to create an effective learningenvironment
  • A current and clearEnhanced DBS check is essential toensure the safety and wellbeing of allstudents
