About the Role

The SEN Teacher will be responsible for setting a vision and targets for pupil success and will be confident in using their knowledge and expertise to monitor progress, provide regular feedback, and encourage our young people to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.

We are particularly interested in candidates from a teaching or SEN/ASC teaching backgrounds. As a SEN Teacher, you will seek ways to positively engage with and motivate pupils through lessons that promote learning and raise levels of attainment.

Please provide written examples of your knowledge/experiences of working with pupils/young people on the autism spectrum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with SEN and across KS3-5
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans
  • Providing support and guidance to pupils with autism

About the School

The Tower School is an independent special day school for pupils ages 11 – 18 years who have a primary diagnosis of Autism. Our dedicated team works together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who will often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.

This opportunity is based in Epping, Essex, and is located on Epping High Road within easy access of J26 of the M25 and Junction 5 of the M11.
