As the Manager of Student Services at ARU College, you will assist the Director of Academic & Student Services and the Manager of Academic Services in managing a wide range of student support functions. These include student records, assessment, progression, timetabling, finance, registration, attendance monitoring, accommodation, and welfare support. You will lead a small, cross-functional team, ensuring that all students feel welcomed, supported, and able to succeed in their academic journey.
Manager of Student Services Requirements:
- University-level qualifications or at least two years’ experience in a relevant industry.
- Experience working in a busy, customer-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GDPR, safeguarding, and Health & Safety regulations.

The role is full time, based in Chelmsford, and office hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday to Friday.
The role is student-facing and office-based (5 days per week during probation, with a degree of hybrid working possible after successful completion of probation).
The postholder will be required to hold a full driving licence, have access to a car and be willing and able to commute between campuses.
