THE ROLE - GUEST RELATION COORDINATOR

Reporting directly to the Guest Relations
Manager, the Guest Relations Coordinator will assist with the daily operations
within Front Office. Acting as the first point of contact for any guest queries
through all means of communication, the GRC will effectively action and
communicate guest requests.

Expectations:



The Guest Relations Coordinator is
expected to:



  • Be professional at all the times
  • Be a positive ambassador of The NoMad
    throughout your professional career with us.
  • Always adhere to company policies and
    procedures, including but not exclusive of; H&S policies, HR policies;
    employee handbook.
  • To role model The NoMad values and
    bringing them to life through every interaction.
  • Assist with all
    administrative tasks supporting the GRM, ensuring all procedures are followed          
  • Acting as a point
    of contact to guests through various means of communication, prior, during and
    post guest stays
  • Meeting guests on
    arrival, noting preferences and communicating effectively to other hotel
    departments
  • Assist with
    coordinating group requests and room drops, acting as a liaison between all
    relevant hotel departments              
  • Provide support
    and cover to reception where needed during breaks and busy periods
  • Prepare arrivals
    for VIP guests, welcome cards and anything else necessary to make the guest
    experience seamless
  • Setting up
    in-room amenities for SA arrivals or any special occasions upon request of the
    guest
  • In absence of the
    Guest Relations Manager, attend meetings as and when required taking note of
    any special guest requests and actioning them
