Trainee Administrator

Hours: Full time (Monday to Friday), Permanent

Location: Norwich

Our client is one of the largest regional business rescue and insolvency practices in the UK providing clients with comprehensive corporate advisory and insolvency services.

They are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Administrator at their city centre Norwich office to provide support to their team. In addition, you will progress to and be trained to deal with aspects of insolvency case work.  No previous experience necessary as full training will be provided.

Initial duties Include:

  • Use of insolvency practice and paperless office software including setting up new cases, posting relevant data and maintaining diary systems
  • Preparing checklists and carrying out relevant company house/anti-money laundering searches for new appointments
  • Preparing letter packs and drafting reports/standard documents post appointment
  • Various banking/tax related matters including preparing online bank payments, carrying out bank reconciliations and preparing VAT and corporation tax returns
    • Assist the team with other ad hoc administrative tasks

  • A positive attitude, ability to learn and be a good team player
  • A good confident telephone manner
  • Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
  • An organised and positive approach to work
  • A good attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Outlook, Word and Excel)
    • Minimum 2 A levels or equivalent.
