The duties of the CollegeTutorare:

Toparticipate in and contribute to the coordination of all aspects ofthe smooth daily running of thecollege.

Ensure that thecurriculum delivery and content are differentiated autism specificand address the individual needs of thelearners.

Develop aneffective working knowledge of the Individual Learning Plan andensure that it is used to inform planning ofsessions.

Monitor anddevelop the curriculum through regular assessment and evaluation ofstudents learning e.g. (initial/formative/summativeassessment)

Ensure thatLiteracy Numeracy & ICT are effectively embedded throughoutthe curriculum area whereappropriate

Create share andmonitor appropriate learner targets in line with the Plan andlearnersneeds.

Provide subjectreports detailing student progress & achievements for bothinternal reviews and external bodies e.g. LocalAuthorities.

Write reportsfor and attend studentreviews.

Todeliver planned coordinated and highquality Numeracy sessions frompre entry to Level2.

Toparticipate in the recruitment and assessment ofstudents.

Toassist with arrangements for the placement and assessment ofstudents at work placement locations ifrequired.

Liaise withpartner schools FE colleges employers and outsideagencies/organisations.

Take part inmarketing activities as required (e.g. Open Evenings).
