Our client is one of the UK slongest established specialist air hygiene and water treatmentsolution providers.

Operating on anational basis they work with a range of clients withinHighSecurity establishments Healthcare Local Government Educationand more.

With their Head Office basedin Bristol our client has specialist teams of technicians acrossthe UK. They are growing and looking for key people to join theirjourney.

The Air Technicians employedby our client are required to test fire dampers maintainair handling units ventilation and extract cleaning.

Air Technicians are also required tocarry out duties in accordance with relevant industry legislationand standards. The job may occasionally involve water hygiene worksuch as monthly water monitoring tank cleaning TMV servicingdisinfections showerhead descales and watersampling.

The role involves travel andoccasional overnight stays.

Given thatthe client predominantly works on highsecurity sites successfulcandidates will need security vetting ranging from a baselineenhanced DBS check to highlevel security clearance(CTC).

Key tasksinclude:

  • Ensuring work isconducted in accordance with Health and Safety regulations SafeSystems of Work (SSW) Method statements and RiskAssessments.
  • Carrying out FireDamper testing andinspections.
  • Installation of accessdoors.
  • Maintenance of Air HandlingUnits.
  • Grease hygiene cleaning andreadings.
  • Cleaning ductwork andventilation systems.
  • AHU corrosiontreatment.
  • Maintaining accuratepaperwork including timesheets expenses survey forms and jobsheets.
  • Occasional water hygienework.


Requirements
  • Experiencein working in the Air hygieneindustry.
  • Experienceof ductwork/fire dampertesting/installations
  • Someexperience working in water hygienebeneficial.
  • Understandingof working withTR19
  • Ideallyexperience in one or more of the following: Machinery maintenanceand/or servicing building maintenance/construction and workedaround equipment in plantrooms.
  • StrongHealth & Safety knowledge and experience with a practicalapproach onsite
  • Happyto work at height or confined spaces whererequired.
  • Ideallyapplicants will have some fieldbasedexperience.
  • Goodcommunication skills able to work todeadlines.
  • Clearand confident communication skills both written andverbal
  • Willingto work occasional unsocial hours and be flexible to travel or stayaway.
  • Fulldrivinglicence
  • Youwill be predominantly working in the South. Ideally you will belocated around the Bristol Swindonarea.
