Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be an integral member of our high-performing finance team, offering valuable support to ensure the smooth financial operations of our company. Reporting directly to the Company Accountant, you will collaborate closely with the finance staff, handle transactional accounting processing, and provide essential assistance in various financial tasks including:
To maintain cash received and cheque journal records. Prepare lodgements & reconcile till reports
Reconcile bank accounts.
Prepare supplier payments (BACS & Cheque).
Process purchase invoices.
Reconcile supplier statements.
Post nominal entries.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a similar role to include purchase, ledger, good standard of systems experience, including MS office. You will need to have good communication, interpersonal skills and have the ability to work using your own initiative.
