Healthcare Assistant - Oncology | The Montefiore Hospital | Full Time per week | Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our Oncology Day unit team at the Montefiore Hospital in Hove.

As our new Healthcare Assistant, you'll be working under the supervision of the clinical team, to assist with nursing and medical duties including patient care along with any other associated general duties to ensure a smooth and efficient service at all times.

Main duties of the job

Assisting the Oncology team in the provision of exemplary patient care Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patients health and well-being to the appropriate person Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies

Job responsibilities

Who we're looking for

Minimum NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care Good Clinical Skills in Phlebotomy, ECGs & Patient Observations Previous experience of working as an HCA in a hospital environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential

Working Hours: Full Time pw - Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Contract Type: Permanent
