The Role

Reporting to the Printing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Product Creation Team with any artwork restoration duties related to processing our artwork.

We are looking for a candidate to join our creative team on a full time basis where you will be working Monday to Friday: 8am - 4:30pm in our Operations Centre in Lichfield.

We would like successful candidates to be able to showcase a portfolio of their own artwork to support their application.

Duties will include:

Restoration on contemporary and modern artwork.Painting and touching up damaged pieces of artwork.Utilising paint brushes, pallet knife and spray paint to restore the artwork.Repairing tears in canvas.Fixing scuffs and marks on pieces of artwork on different mediums.Print embellishment and prototyping of limited edition prints.

Your Skills:

At least an A Level (or equivalent) qualification in an Art related subject.Practical painting and understanding of colour matching and mixing experience.To be able demonstrate various techniques of painting including brush/pallet knife and spray.Excellent attention to detail skills.Competent use of MS packages.Good problem-solving skills.Ability to research techniques and methods to restore art.Team player as there will be ad hoc duties that you may pick up to assist the department.
