About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education.
  • Assist in creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
  • Provide individual and small group support to children, including those with special educational needs.
  • Help with the planning and preparation of activities and resources.
  • Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children in an early years setting.
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring and patient nature, with a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A DBS check registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
