Why this role matters

As an Inbound Business Development Representative you will be responsible for qualifying new sales opportunities brought in through our website, phone lines, chatbots and events we attend. Your final goal will be to schedule meetings with qualified prospects, and pass them on to our sales counterparts.
As a Vonage API Sales representative, you will be the first point of contact a potential customer has with a Vonage API and play a vital role not only in generating sales pipeline, but also helping us refine sales and marketing strategy based on your interactions and successes with prospects.

There are tremendous growth opportunities within this position and team; you will have a chance to learn and develop skills on B2B technology sales, marketing and more. We are growing rapidly and we expect our team to grow to more senior positions (Sales, Senior Sales, Management) across the organisation as we gain experience and achieve high levels of performance.

This role will be based out of our London office close to Old Street x2 days per week.

What you'll do

Performing inbound sales activities, and contact potential clients through phone/video calls, emails, LinkedIn or other channels Interact live with our potential customers on our chat platform and through the phone lines Write engaging and creative content to capture the attention of prospects utilising our marketing material Qualifying customers based on a thorough knowledge of Vonage API platform products Keeping meticulous and detailed notes updated in our CRM system Scheduling meetings and demos for our Account Managers Collaborating with marketing, account managers, and sales leadership to optimize performance Achieve monthly targets number of qualified Appointments & new Qualified sales Opportunities Develop and maintain territory plan with your Account Managers counterparts

What you'll bring

A proactive approach and willingness to engage with prospects over the phone. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maximize meaningful interactions with prospects daily. Experience using contact engagement tools (Outreach, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Drift, 6sense etc) is prefered Highly collaborative mindset and you are a team player - our success is together, not alone. Creative thinking and a willingness to contribute new ideas to drive team success. Autonomy and self-motivation to drive results independently. Keen interest in growing your career in tech Excellent listening, verbal and written skills Exceptional organisation and time management skills

What is Required of You

Previous experience in sales development or lead generation within B2B environments, particularly in the software industry. Proven ability in cold calling and following up on inbound leads with high call volumes. Fluency in English and native proficiency in French, German, or Spanish (proficiency in Arabic, Russian, or Hebrew is a plus).
