QUALITYMANAGER

Ourclient is a specialist for intelligent drive technology andsystems. Their customers are in diverse industries such as oil andgas energy mining ship technology rail and commercial vehicles.They are looking to employ on a fulltimepermanent basis an experienced QualityManager. This role will be based out of their officeslocated inCroydon.

Drugand Alcohol related medical for all New Employees upon starting.

QualityManagerResponsibilities

Maintain andimprove the Quality Management System for the main site offsitepersonnel and fieldservice.

Maintain ourcompliance to ISO 9001 RISQS andRISAS.

Receive andcoordinate customer and third party auditors and ensure continuedapprovals for theCompany.

Supervise theQuality Team and maintain a robust inspection process for bothincoming and outgoinggoods.

Perform supplierassessments and audits to develop the supply chain. Establishsupplier ratingsystem.

Create andmanage the internal auditplan.

Review andapprove customer and supplier requirements specificationscommercial and technical documents from a qualityperspective.

Management ofthe NCR system for both internal and externalNCRs.

Establish theethic of right first time to reduce the cost of nonquality andimproveOPEX.

Ensure there areadequate numbers of internal auditors to achieve theplan.

Identify andprovide appropriate Quality System Awareness training and furtherdevelop the Quality ethic within the company at alllevels.

Quality at Plantpoint of contact for all enquiries and reportableKPIs.

Authorisation tostop the process or product or service provision if quality orsafety requirements are notmet.

Ensure theintranet Company Management System (CMS) and roXtra ismaintained.

Manage thecalibration register to ensure all assets are within calibration atalltimes.

Manage andreport on all direct reportsappropriately.


QualityManagerRequirements

Experience inQuality Management within an engineeringenvironment.

CharteredQuality professionalstatus.

Lead auditorqualified and experienced in planning and scheduling internalaudits.

Agood technical background including knowledge of engineeringstandards.

Possess good allround IT skills including knowledge of ERPsystems.

Analyticalability (costing finance and performanceKPIs).

Excellentleadership and influencingskills.

Excellentcommunicator at alllevels.

Fluent technicaland conversationalEnglish.

Excellent teamand personnel managementskills.

Excellentcustomer facingskills.

Commercialawareness the impact of poor quality oncontracts.
