Finance Assistant, Perm, Industry, 35 hour working week

Your new company 
A long established and successful company based in the Portadown area with a recognised brand are now seeking a strong Finance Assistant for a permanent role. You will join an established Finance team and be offered excellent working hours plus lots of additional benefits including private medical and bonus.

Your new role 
 Logging on of invoices received into the business
 Review & check employee expense claims
 Complete Supplier Statement Checks on a monthly basis
 Prepare the monthly payment run (Transfers)
 Ensure any invoice received follows Group Payment Procedure
 Resolve any AP queries
 Complete relevant Government Returns & Statistical Returns
 Analysis of financial information e.g., transport cost analysis
 Place purchase orders
 Work alongside the payroll department to aid in the processing of payrolls within the Group
 Provide administrative support within F&A e.g. reception cover and post cover
 Any other duties as reasonably delegated

What you'll need to succeed 
You will have gained experience in previous finance assistant role to include sales ledger or purchase ledger and most importantly be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines. You will need good numeracy skills and be computer literate to include MS applications, particularly excel.
