Document Controller – Infrastructure
Location – Tuddenham A
Purpose of the role:
As a Document Controller, you will provide a support service to our project teams by ensuring that project design information / documentation is captured and stored in a methodical manner within Viewpoint for Projects (Our Common Date Environment (CDE)) for ease of retrieval by site teams.
What you will be doing:
Ensure company and project information management protocols and procedures are followed (including but not limited to the IMP and BEP). Act in a communication liaison role for the design and site teams including key documentation and handover information. Build effective working relationships with all members of the site team, up to and including Director level. Be Viewpoint Champion for the project team. Support the relevant Teams with the workflow process, RDD, RFI, Change Control and linking information to virtual containers within our CDE. Manage the CDE creating internal and external document containers with CDE template or inviting and revoking internal and external users. Manage registers and audit site records regularly to ensure compliance with our BMS processes and procedures. Generate and issue reports to internal/external parties when required.This role will require you to be in the office days per week.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A highly organised approach to work. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. The ability to effectively and proactively co-ordinate multiple activities under pressure. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work and communicate with all members of the site team and the wider team if required. Experience of supervising in information management or similar field. The ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. Aptitude to learn new software and technology tools quickly. Aware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adheres to company health and safety policy and procedures. Able to demonstrate alignment and work in line with the Galliford Try values - Excellence, Passion, Integrity and Collaboration.Technical / Professional Qualifications Required
Computer literate with knowledge/experience of Microsoft suite, outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge and experience of using Viewpoint for Projects is essential. Knowledge and/or experience of the Document Control Process at operational level.About You:
