Salary: 80k95k plus bonus and benefits

TheRole: This opportunity is working for a upcoming and financiallysuccessful Consumer Goods/Hospitality business which has multiplerevenue streams a brilliant brand in the sector and a very excitingstrategy for the future. As a crucial member of the finance teamreporting into the CFO. The Financial Controller will beresponsible for leading the team and implement the business financestrategy ensuring that the business has highly effective financeprocesses controls and reporting procedures which in turn willdrive efficiency and excellence resulting in business delivering aworldclass finance function. You will be required to managecorporate accounting regulatory and financial reporting budget andforecasts internal control and the day to day running of thefinance function. RolesandResponsibilities:

  • ManageMonth End and Year End accounting process delivering reports in anaccurate and timely manner that are insightful to drive effectivedecisions
  • Finance business partner to all otherareas of the business to closely support them in the execution oftheir targets and objectives including the commercial team and thesupply chain team
  • Accountable for the cashposition of the business includingforecasts
  • Support the CFO to ensure that thebusiness has appropriate funding for thefuture
  • Share accountability with the Head ofSupply Chain to manage inventory levels to avoid being out of stockand never over stocked across all revenue channels and inventorylocations
  • Finance lead for digitising thecompanies supply chain processes including setting up our ownECommerce platform
  • Ensure acceptable serviceslevels are maintained for both internal and external customers andworkloads are being effectivelymanaged
  • Accountable for building andmaintaining relationships with the bankers; auditors; and taxadvisors
  • Coach individuals and teams to successensuring culture and values are regularly communicated andprotected
  • Ensure that the departments currentand future talent needs are met and that critical skills as well ascareer paths and succession plans are inplace
  • Work with the senior leadership team tocommunicate the organisational vision and ensure that staff membersunderstand how their daily tasks feed into the attainment of thevision

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMAqualified professional with a minimum of three years post qualifiedexperience
  • Previous experience inFood/Retail/FMCG/Hospitality desirable
  • Anexcellent communicator with the ability to tell a story and gobeyond the analysis
  • Previous financialcontroller/head of finance experiencerequired
  • Indepth knowledge of internationalproduct supply chains including importedinventory
  • Previous experience of beingaccountable for the delivery of consolidated group managementaccounts
  • Experience in budgeting andforecasting
