Caretaker

An exciting opportunity hasarisen for a dedicated and skilled Caretaker to join our team atThe Oak Partnership Trust. We are seeking a reliable individual whois committed to maintaining our school premises ensuring a safe andwelcoming environment for our students staff andvisitors.

Main responsibilitiesinclude:

The maintenance andsecurity of school premises and sites ensuring a safe environmentfor pupils staff and thecommunity:

• Maintaining thesecurity of the school buildings.
• Undertakingminor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Assistingwith the setup and clearance of school events andactivities.
• Maintaining outdoor areas includingplaygrounds and sports facilities.
• Monitoringand managing contractors onsite.
• Ensuringcompliance with health and safetyrequirements.

The idealcandidate will:

• Haveexperience in a caretaking or facilities managementrole.
• Possess basic handyman skills for minorrepairs and maintenance tasks.
• Be familiar withhealth and safety regulations in a schoolsetting.
• Show initiative and be able to workindependently as well as part of a team.
• Haveexcellent organisational and communicationskills.
• Be committed to the ethos and values ofThe Oak PartnershipTrust.

Details:

Hours:Part time 20 hours per week term time insets plus 4 days. A minimumof 10 hours must be core hours between 9am and 3pm Monday to FridayInclusive and 10 hours within or outside of corehours.

Contract:Fixed until 31 Aug24
Location: Variouslocations within The Oak PartnershipTrust.
