At ARR Craib Transport Ltd, we have a vacancy for a Contract Supervisor to work out of our Inverness depot.

The position of Contract Supervisor involves:

Overseeing an exciting & prestigious new contract of fast moving consumer goods.Supervising, engaging & coaching a team of HGV Drivers to deliver a great service.Ensuring orders are processed correctly & efficiently.Scheduling customer inbound deliveries in line with resource & depot workload.Working closely with the Transport Manager to ensure correct staffing levels across the contract.Consulting directly with the customer regarding deliveries, load availability, transport and customer requirements.Leading the driving team on continuous improvement, communication with the team via daily debriefs etc.Producing KPIs in line with the customers’ requirements.Being a collaborative & active member of the Depot Management team.Promoting Health & Safety within the workplace.

Essential skills required for Contract Supervisor:

Previous experience of working within a similar role at Supervisory level is advantageous.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal stakeholders.Strong strategic focus and continuous improvement experience.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
