Job Title: Clinical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical supervision to non-clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.

About the Role:
  • Provide clinical supervision to non-clinical staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with NHS Scotland standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care, addressing complex clinical issues and improving patient outcomes.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Participate in education and training programs, sharing expertise and best practices with colleagues.

Requirements:
  • Registered as an Adult nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register.
  • Extensive post-registration experience, preferably within an acute or primary care setting.
  • Excellent clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to provide continuous clinical supervision and leadership.
  • Critical decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex clinical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • A competitive salary package, including a permanent contract on Band 6 £39,912 - £48,635* (pro rata for part-time hours).
