Are you an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with managerial experience keen to progress to Financial Controller?
We have an opportunity for an experienced accountant on an upward trajectory in their career to attain the position of Assistant Financial Controller overseeing a team of 8.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be expected to lead and manage the delivery of month end and year end audit, with a view to continually improving and developing both the team and processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports accounting management, particularly the financial controller
- Financial reporting; cash to revenue, variance analysis, balance sheet quality, cash flow
- Assists in formulating internal controls, ensure compliance with regulations and accounting guidelines
- Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements
- Planning and management of audit.
- Deliver group and operational support on key requirements and initiatives
- Provide leadership to the finance team in the entity structure
The successful candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, previous management experience, compliance and audit experience with the ability to identify process improvements.
You will have worked in a large, fast-paced environment with a good knowledge of financial systems.
The business is looking to appoint someone ambitious with a desire to progress in their career.
