Job Duties:
  • Deliver one-on-one English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tutoring sessions
  • Develop personalised lesson plans based on students' needs and proficiency levels
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Support students in improving their language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
  • Monitor and record student attendance and performance
Required Qualifications:
  • TESOL/CELTA certification or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching ESOL to learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tailor teaching approaches to individual student needs
Education:

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in ESOL teaching

Working Conditions:

The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing one-on-one ESOL tutoring sessions to learners in Tottenham, Greater London. The tutor will be responsible for creating personalised lesson plans, assessing student progress, and delivering constructive feedback to support students in improving their English language skills.
