Cover Supervisor

Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £95 to £115 a day
Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about working with young people and making a difference in their education? GSL are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our school in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of lessons when teachers are absent. If you're confident in managing a classroom and enjoy working in an educational environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
  • Provide assistance to students where needed during lessons.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to manage a classroom confidently and calmly.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Knowledge of school safeguarding procedures.
  • Availability to start as soon as possible.
