Are you passionate about vocational education and ready to lead an innovative program? Teaching Personnel is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Curriculum Lead for Vocational Learning at a progressive secondary school in Farnborough, starting in September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of the vocational learning curriculum across Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Teach a variety of vocational subjects across the full age and attainment range.
  • Mentor and support colleagues within the vocational department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans and resources that inspire and challenge students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.

  • Enthusiastic educators with a strong passion for vocational learning and education.
  • Both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) qualifying this year and unqualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and support colleagues.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in a vocational subject or a related field.
  • Ability to undergo and pass a Safer in Education check.
