Main duties of the job

As a Consultant Dermatologist at Communitas Clinics, you will take a lead role in delivering exceptional dermatological care to NHS patients in a community-based setting. Your duties will include assessing, triaging, and managing a broad spectrum of dermatology cases, including complex and chronic conditions. You will provide patient-centered care, offering compassionate guidance while maintaining confidentiality.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will mentor junior clinicians, lead initiatives to improve service quality, and ensure compliance with clinical governance. Youll also stay updated with the latest dermatological advancements to incorporate best practices into patient care.

This role is perfect for an experienced Dermatologist who enjoys a mix of hands-on patient care and leadership within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Clinical Excellence: Conduct thorough triage, assessment, and management of dermatology cases, including complex and chronic conditions, in line with NHS and GMC standards. Patient-Centered Care: Provide clear, compassionate guidance and support to patients and families, respecting diverse backgrounds and maintaining confidentiality. Leadership in Action: Lead initiatives to improve dermatology service quality, ensure team compliance with clinical governance, and support training for junior doctors and students. Qualifications

Essential

Qualifications: Full GMC registration with specialist accreditation in dermatology. Experience: Proven expertise in dermatology with a track record of delivering high-quality patient care and professional growth. Skills: Leadership, strong communication abilities, and a drive to deliver compassionate, patient centered care. Professional Standards: Commitment to ethical practice and the highest standards in dermatology as outlined by the GMC and British Association of Dermatology.
