TheRole:

As our Data ProtectionManager youll be the guardian of our data protection policies andprocedures. Youll ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulationsoversee information security practices and integrate AItechnologies responsibly. Youll also be the goto person for dataprotection queries andissues.

Whatwill youdo

  • Developand maintain data protection policies andprocedures.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR andother data protection laws.
  • Conduct audits andrisk assessments to mitigate data protectionrisks.
  • Manage the Record of ProcessingActivities (ROPA).
  • Provide training andguidance on data protection practices.
  • Liaisewith regulatory bodies and manage data protection impactassessments (DPIAs).
  • Handle data subject accessrequests (DSARs) and other rightsrequests.
  • Oversee data breach management andreporting.
  • Develop a privacy monitoring plan toensure ongoing compliance.
  • Develop and enforcesecurity policies and procedures.
  • Monitor andassess security risks.
  • Collaborate with IT andother departments to ensure datasecurity.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 andother ISO standards.
  • Lead and manage dataprotection and information securityprojects.
  • Oversee the responsible integrationand use of AI technologies.
  • Regularly reviewand audit AI systems to ensure data privacy andsecurity.
  • Develop guidelines and best practicesfor using AI in handling personaldata.

Essentials:

  • Provenexperience in a data protection role preferably in insurance orfinancial services.
  • Indepth knowledge of GDPRUK data protection laws and information securitypractices.
  • Experience with ISO 27001 and otherISO standards.
  • Strong project managementskills.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies andtheir implications for data privacy andsecurity.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolvingskills.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
  • Ability to managemultiple tasks and projectseffectively.
